Understanding Your Bot Status
Your bot goes through several stages. Here's what each means:
Status: Processing ⏳
What it means: We're building your bot!
What's happening:
- Fetching Instagram posts (tier-limited)
- Transcribing videos (if you have any)
- Matching affiliate products
- Building knowledge index
How long:
- Starter (50 posts): 5–15 minutes
- Pro (200 posts): 15–30 minutes
- Elite (500 posts): 30–60+ minutes
What to do: Check back after the expected time for your tier. Elite accounts with lots of video content may take over an hour — this is normal.
Status: Ready ✅
What it means: Your bot is live!
What to do:
- Copy your bot link from dashboard
- Test it yourself first
- Share with your audience
Status: Error ❌
What it means: Something went wrong
Common causes:
- Instagram connection expired
- No posts found (make sure your account is set to Business or Creator)
- Network timeout (rare)
What to do:
- Click the Retry button on your dashboard
- If it errors again, contact support — include your Instagram username and we'll get it sorted
Status: Warming Up 🔄
What it means: Bot is loading after being idle
How long: 10-30 seconds
What to do: Just wait, this is normal!
FAQ
Q: My bot has been processing for over 1 hour
A: If you're on the Elite plan with a large library of videos, this is expected — 500 posts can take over an hour to fully process. If you're on Starter or Pro and it's been stuck for more than an hour, try clicking the Retry button on your dashboard. If the error persists, contact support.
Q: Can I use my bot while it's processing?
A: No, wait until status shows "Ready"
Q: Will my bot automatically update with new posts?
A: Yes! Every night at 2am CST we fetch new posts and update your bot.
